Tintswalo Lodges started with the opening of the Tintswalo Safari Lodge and Manor House in 2004 in the Greater Kruger National Park, following this Tintswalo added to the stable the boutique hotel Tintswalo at Waterfall, situated 20 minutes from Johannesburg/Sandton CBD on the Waterfall Equestrian estate. The latest addition is the Tintswalo Atlantic boutique lodge built on the side of the world renowned Chapman’s Peak drive mountain reserve, on the Cape water’s edge.
All our properties are fully compliant with the Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) charter. Continually striving for the upliftment of our local communities in each unique locality.
The construction was managed on a small unique tender basis with the main contractor sub-contracting to local entrepreneurs through a tender process, thereby transferring skills through in-house, on-site training and lectures.
Our on the ground community development projects include; Education Alive, a project funded by the lodges, has long since been the driving force behind increased pass rates in schools in the surrounding areas.
The Youth for Human Rights project helps raise children’s awareness of their basic human rights as set out by the United Nations charter for Human rights, this happens at a grass roots level. For more information go to: www.youthforhumanrights.org
The Tintswalo collection comprises a fast moving dynamic group of people working as a team to ensure the long term goals and purposes of the group are achieved.
