Sowing Seeds of Change: The Friends of Tintswalo in the Waterberg

Driven by a deep love for the continent, Friends of Tintswalo is our family's non-profit initiative to actively support conservation and empower local communities. We believe in creating a sustainable future for Africa's wild places and its people. In the heart of the magnificent Waterberg Biosphere, this vision translates into grassroots projects that foster self-sufficiency and a profound respect for nature.

Inspiring Our Future Conservationists: The Kids Program

The Tintswalo Waterberg Kids Program is a cornerstone of our community work. We regularly host children from local communities, immersing them in their natural heritage through educational talks and guided wildlife experiences. Our goal is to inspire a deep, lifelong connection to the natural world and an understanding of the importance of conservation.

Building a Sustainable Local Economy

We are dedicated to helping create a self-sufficient community that contributes to the economy of Vaalwater. Our support is focused on initiatives that provide skills for sustainable livelihoods, including:

  • Community Garden Projects: Supporting the development of sustainable farming to ensure food security and create economic opportunities.
  • Entrepreneurial Workshops: Providing business training and workshops to help local entrepreneurs launch and grow their ventures.

Become a Friend of Tintswalo

We invite you to join us in making a difference. Your support helps us continue our mission to uplift communities, promote conservation, and create sustainable solutions for future generations across all our properties.
